My reviews are based on vegetarian diet. Quality of food is excellent. It tastes amazingly good. Good portion for a lunch and healthy. I didn't add protein to it. Turmeric Tahini and Salsa Verde combination with ancient grains and roasted Kale tasted excellent.

A great choice for a quick but healthy lunch if you are downtown in DC. My go to selection had been their winter soup bowl. It's warm, delicious and filling but with all healthy interesting (kale, brown rice, grilled chicken, various nuts etc) it's on the provider side for a lunch meal but will with it.

Absolutely amazing! It's a cute little place, and the main appeal was that the food is all gluten free, and most of it is also dairy free. Service was super friendly and very efficient, and they took note of any food allergies. Similar dining style to Chipotle: pick a grain base and add a protein and sides. The flavours are also surprisingly sophisticated, there's zucchini cooked with maple and olive oil and wild rice with butternut squash, fennel, cranberries, and pecans. It's pricier than Chipotle, but still surprisingly cheap for the amount of food you get and the food is much higher-end than your average "grab n' go" place. It gets pretty busy at lunch time (line almost to the door!) but it moves much quicker than you would expect. During a one week stay, we went three times. It's great for dining in, or for take out! Update: back again in the winter and it's just as amazing!

I was pretty excited because all the food is gluten-free. It was good for a while but the last few times I went the food was cold and the portions were small. They didn't seem to be doing much for a good eating experience. Haven't been back in a while and isn't anymore in my very short list of GF places to eat in DC :-(

Local lunch spot. Fresh ingredients - pick your base, toppings and sauces. Lots of very creative healthy selections. Beet Burger "protein" option was excellent. Inexpensive lunch you enjoy and feel good about.
