Made a reservation through open table for 8:30 on a Tuesday and should have turned around when we walked in and it was almost completely empty. Three women wanting to get some different dishes and all share. Got two entrees and an appetizer and it was definitely not enough. We wanted one dish to be pretty hearty so we got the Chicken and Dumplings. It was not a big portion of chicken and about 4 pieces of gnocchi. We asked the waiter where the dumplings were and he said they were under the chicken so the dumplings were gnocchi but there were barely any! Between my friend and I we each got two. Spent a good amount of money on a nice dinner and felt like we wanted to go somewhere else to eat after that. Maybe it was a fluke but theres so many restaurants in DC, I would not recommend this one.

The atmosphere and vibe are nice. It's quiet and open. There are fun murals on the ceiling and interesting art features around the establishment. Everything else is okay. The service was not great for such a supposedly nice place. It took a while for any of the waiters to acknowledge us. Even just to get water, was about 15 minutes after we had been seated. We kept making eye contact with the person we thought would be out waiter (he was) and he just kept walking by without a "good evening, I will be right with you," or anything until he walked up as though we had just arrived. I will say the host at the front was really friendly and definitely the best of the service staff we encountered. The food was good and certainly has the potential to be really good, but the Ocean Trout was drowning in a very rich sauce that initially had a good flavor, but after a few bites became way too much and we had to scrape off the excess for it to be palatable. The Grouper was also good, but was a little on the bland side, so between the two, we had to keep swapping back and forth.

I go here often. Happy hour is great and so is the dining. The food is amazing and always has a variety of flavors you would never think to put together. The atmosphere is also very nice. The sradd is always friendly and very attentive. Overall a grrear experience and worth it.

From amuse bouche to breadbasket to dessert, an excellent experience. Fantastic service and fresh, unique fare. A must-visit for me.

Went here in a small bar crawl. Got two cocktails. They were fantastic. The kind of place that blow torches your garnish. I had an burnt oranges in my bourbon. The ceiling and decor was very elegant. Very attentive staff. We might go back for dinner.
