My girlfriend and I had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar and the place was pretty empty. My girlfriend waited for an overly long amount of time for her drink despite ordering it several minutes before I ordered and received my beer. The bar tender was very friendly an attentive aside from waiting for the drink. The food was good but not fantastic. Portions were large, which was appreciated. My tortillas were small and spongy. I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be and I'm just used to the type found in a grocery store. so I didn't factor it into my rating but wanted to make sure that I commented on it. Overall, I would go to Santa Fe again, but I would consider other options first.

I just attended there today a couple hours ago for the first time and ordered take out. The food was excellent! Very authentic and cooked well. The service was good, staff was very polite and patient. I will be retuning soon in the future.

Drinks are overpriced and not even a little alcoholic. Foods decent but way overpriced for what it is. Wait staff is like the little engine that could, they try so hard but are ultimately overmatched.

Fresh chips, half price burritos on Monday lunch special and decent guac. Maybe a little uninspired, but fresh. and pretty well made. Lots of burrito and Mexican places in Newark, this can't be the worst.

This place has become very stingy. They no longer give you guacamole with the burritos. You don’t get chips and salsa with takeout orders despite ordering several entrees. The portion sizes keep getting smaller. Staff is very rude and slow. Not only do they have horrible waiters and hosts, but all of them gossip about customers and you can hear them. Awful. What happened to the management?
