The staff is friendly the moment you walk in, and are always on the ball to get you seated. The food is priced rather well, particularly due to the portions and the extras that come with your meal, such as soup and bakery rolls and buns. When our food came out we though it was a mistake, because it came out of the kitchen faster than anything short of Fastfood! We probably had our meal within 8-10 minutes. The order was spot on to how we asked it prepared, and was fantastic. You will not be disappointed here.

Stepping through the doors of this iconic Des Plaines landmark is like taking a trip back in time for those of us who have called this town home for a generation or more. Though the interior has been remodeled from quaint diner style to modern mall bland, the food is always excellent and the wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The dining room is larger than it looks from outside and the seating is actually quite comfortable. With the addition of windows along the east side, many tables receive a pleasant, inviting feeling that it previously lacked. It's a great downtown location though parking can be scarce. It's one of our family favorites.

Well priced large portions. Easy parking. Great service. Food is good but not outstanding. For the price it's an excellent deal. Large breakfast menu but, also a full service dinner with lunch and dinner. Open early

I love to eat here for special occasions. I tried their French toast for the first time in my life and it was wonderful! The only bad thing is many of the waitresses are very far away to call out.Whenever we go there, my poor dad has to try to get their attention if we need their service. The greatest employee I seen was the kind man who serves us coffee and water. At least I see he is a hard working man. My family always respect him and gives him, only him, good tips. But it's still good to eat there. Great food to eat and take home!
