Typical kids diner food menu CASH ONLY extremely friendly environment. Way cleaner than I remembered as a kid, I recall being apprehensive about putting my elbows on the table, but by comparison, I'd eat off the table these days! Employees are very welcoming and treat you and especially kids, like their a local regular. Did I mention CASH ONLY!

You MUST take your children here, especially for birthdays. Came all the way from Wisconsin just to see. Only cash so be prepared, otherwise there is an ATM in house. Freshly ground beef for burgers and delicious sandwiches and fries. A bit more pricey than expected but totally worth it for the experience. Make sure you wait for a seat near the track so the train delivers straight to you.

I live in the area, passed by this place many times before, so I've decided to try it since the reviews were very positive. My 5 y.o. daughter and I went there for a dinner on a week day, we had burgers and I would never visit this restaurant again. Here is why, the restaurant is cozy and the train brings some charm, but the prices don't reflect the quality and amount of food. Very limited kid's menu choices ( hot-dog, burger and chicken) there are 4-5 types of sandwiches and burgers for adults, I'm not obsessed eating healthy but I try to teach my kid what is good or bad food and why. The burgers we've ordered came quick, they looked like they came from a chain food restaurant (the patty has 1/8" thickness), same for the only side option - fries, and they tasted OK, yet my daughter didn't like it. She had also chocolate milk, which was like cold hot cocoa drink, and I doubt that there was any milk in it. The final nail on the coffin for our experience was that this place is cash only, and they have ATM that charges 3$ per transaction, so you could pay cash. At the end we had mediocre food like from a fast food place and paid like for decent burgers in a local restaurant. If you don't care about the quality of the food and you're OK your children to eat in McDonald's or Burger King, you'd like this place (well it will be a little pricey still). If fast food is not a preferred option for you, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, it seems that this business doesn't struggle for clients and they will be fine without you.

Love it and they were so nice to my little girl. She can't wait to go again! Good classic food in a relaxed but family fun environment. Will be back soon. Thank you.
