The food was delicious! I ordered a ham and cheddar omelette with buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The eggs from the omelette were also and there was the perfect amount of ham and cheese. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the service and atmosphere. The restaurant was a little muggy and smelly, nothing too unbearable. The service was not good. The waitress had a bit of an attitude as she was questioning what my brother in law ordered as if he needed pancakes instead of toast. There was then an issue with the register. The waitress made it sound like the machine was not working and couldn’t print out our receipt. I gave her my credit card to pay for our meal which she responded “no you’re not understanding me the machine doesn’t work.” She was actually implying the card machine did not work and we needed to pay with cash.

Came here after 1am, after partying throughout Bourbon Street. The establishment is well kept, staff was great and food was tasty (I did have a bit of alcohol in me so I'm sure anything I ate could have been tasty). 🙂

Service is ok, but just barely. Food isn't bad but the last two times I got my order to go. When I got home I realized that my side order of fries was like half of what it should have been. Which really upset me the second time for not remembering about this the time before until getting home and discovering it had happened to me AGAIN. So, I strongly recommend dining there OR thoroughly checking everything before leaving with your food.

We came into New Orleans to enjoy Broadway's Production of Phantom of the Opera. We arrived around 11:30 and the performance started at 1. We came across this IHOP, which I had enjoyed on my previous visit, and were seated promptly around 11:40. The waitress was kind and quick and came to us within the first 3 minutes to get our orders and drinks. Around 12:29 that we were starting to get worried, as we still had not received our food. The waitress came by and dropped off our silverware but we were short one set so I asked her for another. When she came back, she gave me a smart-ass grin waving the set of silverware at me before setting it down. We asked if we could go ahead and get our check so we could pay ahead of time and she said she would go get it but never came back with it. When we asked to go ahead and cancel the order, as we were going to be late, the lady said she needed to get her manager. We waited till 12:45 and she came up and said she was waiting for our food, even though we had asked to cancel and were just waiting to pay for our drinks. Finally the cashier at the counter just told us we could leave and we left. During this entire time, there was a group of people behind us who were still waiting for their food, who had arrived before us, and a family across from us that quickly got their food, even though they arrived during the time we were waiting for the food.

Loved my waiter and the fact that they're 24/7. Asked for warm syrup and instead of the waiter shrugging bc of the extra work he was glad to assist. Loved it. The portions were humongous and I could barely eat a fourth of it. Definitely a stop to make if you're out late and starving. Amazing pancakes.
