I was pleasantly surprised by our meal here. The best red beans and collards I've had, and really tasty fried chicken. Charbroiled oysters were BOMB - a little pricier than you'll find further from the quarter but worth it (fresh oysters are $1 each at happy hour and charbroiled are 6 for $10 or 12 for $20). Left full and happy. The place was empty when we arrived at 5:30 but by 6 it was pretty much full. Recommend a 5:30 reservation for the best service.

Super friendly workers and delicious food. It's located right by the boardwalk and convention center. They have a good selection of whiskey and other liquor. I got grilled and raw oysters, which were very good. I also good the gumbo, which was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place

Richard and his team gave us a warm southern welcome! They gave us sensational dishes to try! From the greens to the gumbo to the hush puppies! All tasty! As well as a great beer and adult beverage selection! Me and my folks were all pleased with the food, beverages, and service! Very fast and sharp! The folks there know what they're doing! I def plan to come again!

This place is awesome!! We walked in here at 3pm and they were closed but they were very polite and gave us another recommendation. Because they were so nice we decided to come back for dinner and made a reservation for 9:30pm. It was really worth coming back!! The food is good and services very nice.

I came here on a busy lunch time. I had to wait for 10 min to get a seat. There was no wait list and no one directed me to my seat when it got empty. The food was good. I had raw oysters which were fresh and catfish creole which was nice too (I loved the sauce). I would've liked to give 5 stars but the service quality was not there.
