Place looked and smelled like an old bar, cheaply revamped, but the reviews were ok so gave it a shot. All I wanted was a bowl of chicken and noodle soup for a child who would not eat at the burrito bar up the street. They didn’t have your typical soup appetizer option so agreed on a basic main entree of chicken and noodles, nothing added. This came at the hefty price of $10, but seemed within conventional prices for a meal sized noodle bowl. What we got 15 minutes later were a smaller plastic container of noodles and chicken and a larger plastic container of chicken broth, which would have been ok if there was also a touch of quality thrown in. Instead what we got was a wretched concoction that was so salty the child could not eat it. When I tested to overrule what I thought was an overreaction of a 7 year old, I had in my mouth what tasted like one of those 50 cent cans of condensed Campbell’s chicken soup, but without the necessary addition of a cup of water to dilute the brine. I couldn’t believe a restaurant would both serve this salty dishwater and charge ten bucks for it. We trashed it and any notion of returning to this place.

Amazing food, great drinks and bartenders on the bar side when that opens like at 6pm! Open super late on the weekend. You owe it to yourself to try a employee noodle bowl

Hit or miss. Either everything is awesome or there are multiple issues. Food is generally tasty. The space isn't the cleanest and could use some tlc

Save yourself the hassle and just get chicken curry every time. Friendly service, reasonable prices, incredible food. Worth the walk in downtown Bangor!

Having been a professional lead cook, and later chef, I cannot stress enough the need for anyone who has ever even slightly liked ramen noodle out of a package, or even noodles at a Chinese buffet; should at least once go to a restaurant whose primary food is noodles and the difference will knock your socks off!! 👊😵🤕😎👈
