Went there on a viciously cold Maine night. The atmosphere and food warmed us up considerably. Appetizers and varied entrees were available for both the herbivores and carnivores in my party. The servers are well trained and attentive and the kitchen works efficiently. Overall, this is a good place to go with someone you want to spend quality time with—we had the opportunity to have a long, unhurried conversation while the food and drinks flowed. This is a first class dining establishment we need to support—my family and I will travel from Ellsworth to Bangor to return here very soon. Kudos to Lisa Leonard and the team for a wonderful addition to the Bangor food scene, which has seen the passing of gems such as Thistles. Highest recommendation!

I hesitated on this review as the one other time there, things were different. This time, there were musicians trying to play over the lively discussions by about 2 dozen professionals from our local hospital who were around one very large table. My boyfriend and I chose to leave prior to ordering when the professionals stood and mingled around their large table, standing and talking loudly to each other, directly beside and around our tiny table for two. We couldn't hold a conversation if we tried and the food was too expensive to not enjoy the entire experience. My advice to the restaurant would be to perhaps close the restaurant for private parties until and if you aquire a private party space that wouldn't be intrusive on other paying guests.

I love this place! Great food and very friendly staff. Great selection of locally brewed beers on tap as well. They usually have 2 or 3 specials in addition to the regular menu which are always unbelievably tasty. I eat there often and can say I've never had a bad meal.

Upscale dining with regular specials. The building was previously used as a bank giving the space a lot of character. There is also outdoor seating in the summer.
