My family and I used to go here a couple times a year and sometimes we would use gift certificates that we got as gifts from a friend of the owner. We went in one day and tried to pay with their gift certificates that were sold by this location. The worker got the owner on the phone and gave us the phone. He gave us an attitude and started questioning where we got them, like they were stolen. He then told us we could only use one $5 gift certificate at a time. It didn't say anything like that on the certificates. We left and went somewhere else to eat. I returned the gift certificates to the person we got them from and told him what happened. A few days later, the same person told us that he straightened everything out and tried to give them back to us. I declined and told him that I'm not going back because I was treated like a thief. The owner is a real piece of work. There are better chicken places to eat and I get treated like a customer and not a criminal.

Delicious freshly made chicken. I got a 3 piece meal came with a side and a drink for $7.99 a good value. The pieces were a breast leg and thigh! Breading was crispy with good flavor, fries were crispy.

First time visitor. Impressed by the fact that my order was prepared while I waited, about 7 minutes. They don't cook ahead. For such a small place it had a large accessible rest room and no steps to get into the small ordering area. No tables but high chairs and table built into the wall. At most it could fit a dozen people. The whole operation is geared toward take out and delivery.

I have been meaning to try cluck u for years and years. Today I finally pulled in. The young man at the register barely acknowledged me once he got off the phone. I ordered a Philadelphian which is a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella onions and peppers. I ordered without the onions and peppers. I was very disappointed. The sandwich was so dry. The mozzarella was melted into the roll as opposed to the chicken and the was very little of it. The cook handed me the sandwich abruptly without saying anything and went back to the kitchen. The only words I spoken to me during the whole 5 minute transaction was.. "$7.50".

You've had this sitting in front of you all your life so you take it for granted but it's still the best chicken around so you should stop doing that and eat it.
