Nice little place in Schenectady. Revitalized neighborhood near Union College. The service was awesome. Wait staff was attentive and kind. Food was pretty good. Not exceptional but worth another visit.

Family owned, the best quality food and drinks, and a cozy Italian inspired atmosphere. They have the best weekend brunches! Their chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon will make your day. Their mimosas are the cherry on top! It is so worth the trip and you won't regret it.

This is a difficult review to write because I have always been a huge fan of Perreca's bread, pizza, and pastries, but the restaurant is not living up to its name-sake. We went here for an early dinner, arriving at ~4:30. There was only 1 or 2 other couples in the restaurant. Our party of 6 was greeted and seated right away, and after a couple minutes our sever came over. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our drinks, just soda and water. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer, which to 10-15 minutes to come out. We needed a steak knife to cut it into several pieces so we could share, but couldn't get the attention of our server. It was just OK, but I probably won't order it again. #0 minutes later we get our entrees, and 3 of them are wrong. Send them back to get corrected. I ordered a fettuccine type dish. It was lukewarm, at best. Because it wasn't hot, the sauce had already started to congeal, making a paste, gluing everything together. The desserts were good, cheesecake was awesome! Bottom line - Took over 2 hours for a party of 6 to have an early dinner, prices were a little expensive, considering what you're paying for, and the service was deplorable. We won't be back.

I am an organizer for a dining group. We went to dinner here on 3.10.18. During dinner we did have a major issue regarding our desire to receive separate checks. The issue had a big negative impact on our evening and we vowed never to return. I also wrote an account of our experience here. Today I was contacted by the owner of the restaurant, Maria. She was extremely apologetic about our experience. She took the time to explain what had prompted the issue with separate checks on the night of our visit and offered to send me a gift card so we could visit again. I very much appreciate her taking the time to reach out to me and offer to make things right. We will definitely be making a return visit to Pereccas in the future.

Friendly and efficient staff. Cozy ambience that harkens back to old time diners. Food is always hot and fresh. You can't beat anything that includes their fresh bread. Try it for breakfast sometime.... You won't find eggs in purgatory like it anywhere else.
