We hosted two students from China for a week. Prior to their coming I told the cashier at the Shaker store that we would place an order to show how we in Cleveland eat. Not only was she receptive of the children, she made suggestions to make their stay comfortable and she followed up with providing literature so that they can take it back to China. Right before they arrived, I called and place a order for pickup. Unlike other stores who make you wait, the food along with a side of sauce was ready precisly the time I requested for pickup. We served chicken wings, fries, and the famous sauce to the kids, and the loved it. In fact the students smashed those wings Thank you for helping us show China students are hospitality. Both

Staff is not welcoming and friendly on 222nd and Euclid. Been there twice before, first time I expressed to the cashier I had never been there before, I asked if they had Mac and cheese the cashier didn't verbally voice any thing, she simply pointed to the white board they had. I just tried to give it another try and the posted sign says store hours on Sunday which the closing time is 10, it's now 910pm, and the doors are locked. I actually tried calling in an order at 830 and no one would pick up the phone so I decided to drive to the location thinking they where just business. So I now know posted hours mean nothing in the business world, and my money must not also. Congratulations Sam sylk chicken and fish, you just lost a customer. I will never be back, and I'll make sure I spread my store of this horrible service.......

Today was my first time at Sam Sylk's I was very disappointed I ordered the challenger the fish was not fresh it taste like it was cook in old grease the lettuce was brown the sandwich was nothing like the picture. I also ordered catfish with shrimp very bland. I called ahead and still had to wait for about 10 minutes the young lady first told me she did not have my order, however she had it under the wrong name. The lady who took my order was not very customer service oriented very non sholant attitude. I really like Sam but good help I guess is hard to fine.

Staff was rude and you can never order breakfast. Not to mention if you order fish, they give you whatever kind of fish they want. 2nd time this has happened. And also if you stop serving breakfast at 11am then you should open before 11am. I will never ever go back to this place again.
