The restaurant is open 24/7/365. Those are hours you can't beat in downtown Salem when you're out late and have the munchies. They are the only restaurant downtown open at 3 in the morning, on top of that they serve breakfast anytime. The food is always good and unique. If you're a vegetarian, they have thick, fresh made, veggie patties that you can add to wraps and burgers. Sometimes they run out of menu items but that can happen to the best of restaurants. If you're into adding a kick to your dish they have a house made hot sauce called Monster sauce (use wisely). So if you are out crawling through the bars of Salem, stop by the Kitchen on Court Street. They'll treat you right.

Great food here. Located on Court st (of course) in Salem near Riverfront park, thud like hole in the wall eatery is one of my favorites. Super eclectic and cozy. Weekends are tough to get in as this is a very popular local place. The chicken fried steak is top notch and if know anything its chicken fried steak. All the food is fresh and hot and really good portions. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. Defiantly with the wait of they are busy.

I had high expectations for this place based on the reviews. I didn't expect this place to be so tiny but there is very limited seating. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated. The service was great once we were seated. Our waitress was very helpful in making recommendations and answering our questions. The food was ok. There wasn't anything that I tried that was extremely memorable. Not sure I would go back because of the wait. If I were in the area and there was seating available then I would eat here again but i wouldn't go out of my way or wait. There are a ton of other dining options in the area that would give you the same quality of food.

Open 24/7/365! We love coming here after our long closing shifts and chilling out with a massive serving of Mac and Cheese. The hush puppies are amazing too. Be warned though, they literally put pure capsaicin in their monster sauce. If they say something is spicy don't ignore the warnings. Obviously since these items are made in house by hand there are days where the spicy isn't as present but be cautious at first!

Very polite waitstaff. I had a Reuben and it was absolutely delicious. Fries leave a little to be desired but, the sandwich definitely makes up for it. A place I will make a special trip to on those late nights where you just need a good sandwich.
