Stopped in to The District for a few apps and drinks. We are always searching for a warm, inviting restaurant with good food, attentive servers/service and ambiance. Five of us sat at the bar where Thomas, the bartender, gave us excellent service. He was so friendly, personable and very accommodating. He adjusted the temperature, as we all felt a chill from cold air blowing. The lighting left a lot to be desired, too bright! As we were the only ones there, we made some suggestions to adjust the lighting over the bar to a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. Much better! We each ordered something different to share and all of our food was absolutely delicious!!! Don't leave without trying the strawberry waffle dessert...oh my goodness, sooo good! We can't wait to go back!

Very nice casual atmosphere and friendly staff. And you will NOT walk out hungry...food portions are huge and very tasty! Definitely a repeat place for us.

I eat here weekly. Sometimes more often. Everyone says prices are high here. I think they are about right. The food is awesome. The staff is great. Atmosphere is pretty good too.

The service is fast and the food is awesome. I strongly recommend the ribs or the shrimp and grits. Quality food for a good price. Amazing place!!

Not from Anderson and was passing through town late 9:00p. Greeted at the door by two friendly smiles who helped me decide between eating downstairs versus upstairs. Sat upstairs. Large area. Order wedge salad with steak adder. Very surprised that the steak was tender and cooked correctly. They exceeded my expectations!
