We just left from St. Patrick’s Day. We had never visited before so we were excited about trying it out. We knew it may not be the best night to go being a holiday and all, but we couldn’t resist when we arrived and managed a front parking space. Upon entering, the decor was really neat and themed but not overpowering. We asked how long the wait was and were told an hour, but we opted for first available between inside and the patio. One of the sweet hostesses saw we were with our young child (19mos) and offered to check the patio because she thought there was a table currently open. She came back a few minutes later and was able to seat us pretty much immediately, which was great having a young child. We sat down outside where live music was playing in a tent nearby and a draft beer truck was set up for people not seated at tables enjoying the live entertainment. I was upset that the menu was reduced to a few select items due to the holiday, because the full menu had several great items to choose from. Ultimately, I decided to go with the Shepherd’s Pie. Fortunately, due to the reduced menu, our food came out very quickly too. I was impressed with the Shepherd’s Pie and would definitely go back to visit and try some other items on their full menu.

This place is the definition of out of sight out of mind unfortunately for me. I LOVE this place, every time I eat here it is amazing, yet for some reason I forget to think of this place when going out to eat. That will be changing for sure. Bottom line, eat here, you will not be disappointed. The Irish whiskey marinated steak is fantastic as is their beer cheese soup.

If you've never been to McGee's then add it to your bucket list, folks. They have an amazing kitchen, and an equally awesome bar. Their food is delicious. I love their Honey Mead Chicken, their Mick-a-roni and cheese skillet, and their corned beef. Also their beer cheese soup and french onion soup are a must have. They have a remarkably well stocked bar and an large selection of wine, mead, and import and domestic beer. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and their live entertainment is always something else. Two thumbs up!

Literally the worst experience I've EVER had. First off we had to wait 10 minutes for a drink order, soon after that we had to wait 15 more minutes before flagging someone down to get a check because no-one had even tried to take our order. Once we got someone's attention we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the check. As we were leaving I made a comment about yelp and the owner proceeded to berate me about "trashing" him. So that's what I'm doing now 0 stars if possible but DO NOT GO HERE! You will be doing yourself a favor!!!!!
