Great food! I really enjoyed the “create-your-own pizza.” Service was very friendly but a little slow. It may have been because of the time of day, but from what I’ve heard it is widely known as a local favorite so it stays busy during typical eating hours. Be prepared for a decent wait to receive your food during those times. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Friendly staff and prompt service. Can get really crowded during lunch but that's because everything is delicious! Their clam chowder is off the chain! All of the ingredients on their pizzas are very fresh. I personally recommend the house salad with chicken and the red wine vinaigrette.

I can't tell you what the food is like because we didn't actually get to eat there. We had a party of 7 and call Dad to see if we could do reservations we were told we could not do reservations. We get there and are told it's a half an hour wait okay we'll wait. An hour and a half later we are still not seated and are still being told it'll be a few more minutes. We walk down the street to have dinner somewhere else they had two cell phone numbers to call us and tell us when our table is ready they never called us. I've heard they have great pizza but I guess I will never know.

Nice restaurant. Food is good and the prices are reasonable. Great overall

Located right downtown on main street Summa Joes is always hopping. Locally sourced foods with a sizable rotation of specials. The pizza menu includes some real offbeat choices such as the bluegrass dinner (ham, greens, chow chow, vinegar, grits... shockingly good) and everything I've had there is good. Prices are generally quite reasonable given the location and type of restaurant. Service has always been good though you may find a wait some nights.
