The flavors were amazing. I had the burger and it was in the top rated burgers of my life. Her grilled asparagus was damn good too. They accommodate dietary restrictions. Old brick interior with modern design and nice lighting. AC worked well on a hot day, making it that much more of a welcomed stop. The waiter was friendly and funny too. We will be back!

The staff is quick and friendly. The food is creative and delicious. The cocktails were made just right. The atmosphere is pleasant. However, it can get it bit loud so not a great place for a romantic dinner but great for a night out with friends!

I visited the restaurant with my mom on 4/13 last month. When we arrived during the evening there weren’t any tables available yet, so we took as seat at the bar to wait. Shortly after, a few tables cleared up on their patio outside. The host didn’t immediately come to get us, so after a few minutes I had to ask if we could go sit down. We waited for over 20 minutes and a server NEVER came to our table! Even though there were only maybe 4 tables outside and a server was clearly helping the other tables. I checked in with the host twice and another server to ask if someone could come over to take our order. The only reason we waited around so long was because we had ordered a glass of wine from the bar. Do NOT recommend this restaurant, their service was terrible.

Perfect. I kid you not...PERFECT. Imagine a place where literally every aspect of your experience is on point - THAT'S Pawpaw! The music selection and volume was sensational, the wait staff were super friendly and gave great local attraction recommendations to us out-of-towners, and best of all...THE FOOD! The appetizers are incredible (try the 3x southern biscuits), the entrees have large portions, and the price is well-below what you would expect given the location and the quality. If you only eat in one place in Charleston, SC - make it this one!

Great service in a nicely done restaurant. The food is good, but nothing to rave about - except the biscuits. The beef wasn’t prepared as requested. It was 2 levels above medium, and they wouldn’t reheat it. Also, the wines on tap are completely overpriced @$15/glass. There are too many other options in Charleston to come back there.
