We LOVE this place for the food --- but more-so we love the people! Everything we have eaten there is excellent. Delicious and made fresh! We've been going there for countless years and Lord willing will continue to go countless more.

If you are new to the area, you may want to visit once, just for the experience. The clientele are generally those who visit this establishment regularly and have done so for many years. If you are looking for great service and atmosphere, then this may not be the place for you. But if you want to meet old friends for a fast and filling meal, this place could be right for you. It doesn't quite fit the bill for me because I prefer a somewhat healthier meal. I will say, my wife goes occasionally for their fried chicken livers.

Every time I visit Spartanburg (which is usually 4-5 times a year) I make it a point to eat at least one meal here. Love the atmosphere and the food... nothing like a good chili cheeseburger a-plenty!

This restaurant is a staple whenever I am in Spartanburg. The food is consistent and good. My recommendation is either the souvlaki plate or a good ole fashioned roast beef sandwich. The sweet tea is my favorite... Better than mom's, but we won't tell her...

I had the chili cheeseburger. Shared the fries and onion rings. The crinkle-cut fries are ok, probably frozen. Not the best onion rings but edible. The stars are the sandwiches. Next time I visit, I am ordering the tall roast beef sandwich. I consider this place a better quality verison of the World Famous Beacon.
