If i could do 3.5 stars i would. This is in a great location on Beale St. Very near a LOT of little shops, bars with live music, etc. The food was better than I remembered having previously at Hard Rock Cafe (granted I haven't been to one in a while). Service was definitely lacking. They were understaffed big time, and it extended our visit by probably 20 mins overall (waiting for a server after being seated and waiting on the check). Our servers (one was in training) were very nice, but they had too many other tables to take care of. We were very pleased by the live entertainment though. "Memphis Jones" performed a short set, and those guys were great! Really good set list, with a cool bit of history behind Memphis music. I'd definitely go somewhere to see them again. Overall, good food, nice servers, but understaffed.

Seemed to be really understaffed for a Wednesday night (bike night). Bartender was super nice, but she seemed to be the only staff on the floor - meaning she was taking care of diners away from the bar, too. Took roughly fifteen minutes to get a drink. Food was good, and delivered quickly after I ordered, but it was a challenge getting the bill when I was ready to go. Shop had the expected t-shirts and other trinkets Hard Rock is known for.

The 45 minute wait was tolerable but just before we were called the informed everyone that it would be a 2 hour wait for a table. I was looking at 4 empty tables plus there were others upstairs. We asked to speak to a manager and when the hostess came back she said he was too busy to come out. Other patrons became loud and began causing a scene. One of the waiters grabbed the guest list and began seating people in order of arrival. I looked around 5 minutes later and there were no empty tables and no one was waiting. Good job by that gentleman and way to stay calm for the hostess. The food was good so kudos to the cooks as well. Boo for the manager that day.

Horrible experience and service! I waited to have THIS experience because MOST times when there's a location change with extra amenities, the FIRST YEAR of the business is on point. JUST as I thought, after waiting for a little over a year, I NEVER have to return. I have visited MANY HARD ROCK locations and Memphis has NEVER come close. YES this is my hometown but I have no problem with HONESTY. The staff including management should visit the other locations for training. Maybe then they'll get it RIGHT. Food came to the table COOL not HOT! Orders were screwed up and it was NOT a busy NIGHT to top! I was disgusted to the tune of a banging headache when I left. THEY crushed the reputation of the HARD ROCK cafe food chain!

We went to watch the Gable Bradley Band play and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere and setup were great! The Guinness burger was awesome and their caulfilower wings were great, as well! Be sure to check out the local beers they have on draft. We had a Ghost River and were very impressed with it! They had plenty of seating and a big bar. It was very cool to watch the performance from the second floor balcony! Definitely check this place out if you get chance!
