Visited during Memphis in May. $15 cover. The food was good, but the BBQ at Whole Hog in Conway Arkansas is better. The "All Star" band performed. The singer was impressive. The guitar player was good, but in an establishment with BB Kings name on the door, I expected better. Maybe I just expected too much. I don't mean to sound negative, I had a good time, but I've had better here before.

Just wow! This place is fantastic. Everything was wonderful, from the food to the music. It was overall a great experience. I was with a party of 5 and we all ordered something different and I tried everything and it was delicious! I highly recommend the baby back ribs. They were cooked to perfection! We really had a great time. There is a cover charge at the door but it was well worth it! I will be coming back the next time I am in Memphis!

Delightful surprise. We suspected the restaurant / bar would be touristy. We were delighted to find it was not. Good food. Good drinks. Good service. Great music. Highly recommend.

Went in just after 9pm last night for dinner... We got into town late. The lady at the door ignored us for several minutes and continued talking to her coworker. When I finally got eye contact I asked if they were still serving dinner, she said yes but there was a $5 cover. We all paid and she went back to talking to her buddy. After several minutes I asked if we needed to seat ourselves... The sign says wait to be seated. Her friend grabbed some menus and seated us. We sat there awhile before our waiter came to take drink orders so we were ready to order food when he finally got there. I ordered a mixed drink, gumbo, and bread pudding. The drink was okay. When they showed up with the food they just called out the name of the dish and hovered it over the table. Our friend actually took every dish out of their hand and placed it where it needed to go because they just stood there hovering the plate. The food was cold. The gumbo tasted like it was straight from the can, I couldn't finish it. The bread pudding probably would have been good if it were warm. We were never offered water or a refill. We didn't see our waiter for a good 30 minutes. My friend then ordered dessert and he took off without asking if anyone else needed anything... The other friend wanted dessert too but didn't get any. They did the hovering thing again with her dessert, only our table was full because nobody bothered to take away any of our 5-6 bowls and plates that were sitting there empty. We had to stack dirty dishes to make room. After sitting there another 30-45 minutes without seeing our waiter I went and asked the bartender if she could let our waiter know we would like our check. She said he was busy and to give him a few more minutes. About 10 minutes later he showed up and we immediately handed him our cards. This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had and the first time I've ever not tipped. Definitely not worth $31 for a one shot drink and two cold dishes. The band was good but it was way too loud and I was expecting blues... The place is called BB Kings...

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Good: quality live band. Ribs were fantastic, burger was a decent burger and the shrimp and grits were fantastic. The server was friendly. The bad: way too loud (probably nothing they can do about it) for a lunch experience. The food took over 40 minutes to come out. The lights flickered upstairs bad enough to give me a headache while trying to read the menu.
