The restaurant looks coming directly from the '60s. Simple tables, casual appeal, friendly staff. Obviously is famous for steak and ribs, I recommend the pork ribs. They serve good local beer (in plastic glasses). The restaurant need a new exhaust fume system because there is too much smoke from the kitchen inside. Table reservation recommended.

Ate here Friday night. They were crazy busy and there’s a guy working like crazy - busting his butt, waiting on 10 people at once. My husband said, “He’s got to be the owner, working that hard”. We asked him - he is not! His name is Keith and he is just a great worker! Great personality, too! I hope whoever reads these reviews at BCC recognizes what an awesome employee they have in Keith!

Food was great! And even with a heavy crowd, service was good. At 1:20am, what else could you ask for?Oh yeah, good music! One of my favorites.

This place is great. Old school BBQ and HUGE steaks. Chill environment with charm. You could see this place was and still is a landmark for Beale Street. It's a must visit for lunch between drinks. Plenty of food. Big portions. Friendly service

For the price, I expected the ribs and BBQ to have better flavor. Honestly, if you want better BBQ you should just go to Outback. The tamales were not edible -- the actual tamale wrap couldn't be chewed. That happens when it's either not fresh, or over cooked. The location & staff were very nice. But, that's what you're paying for. The food was not good.
