So we drove up from Texas headed to Kentucky and thought, hey Memphis is known from great BBQ. Googled a few places close by and this one came up. So we went. We get there and its pretty empty in there,(midday around 3 or so), and we ask the waiter a few question and he assures us that this place is by far the best place to get ribs and its not because he works there. We order a rack and ask that they be close to fresh off the grill as possible, he says no worries, i got you. The ribs came and boy were they TERRIBLE! Cold, dry and old. I mean I've had better ribs at a place like Chili's that aren't a BBQ joint. I was so disappointed and we told him and all he said was oh I'm sorry and walked away. When i say this place was trash, that might be an understatement. DONT WASTE your hard earned money here. Save yourself the frustration.

First time on Beale and this was our first stop (we wanted something to drink). Made the trek down and up Beale and stopped back in to shove some groceries down our necks, as our hunger had been climbing steadily once we arrived. Ordered their BBQ Lover's Feast for the 3 of us and boy-howdy, was it a feast! Everything from the full rack of ribs to the pulled pork and hot legs was AWESOME!! Though there are many places to sate one's appetite on Beale, I do believe this will be our go-to spot when we return. Our food arrived quickly and our waitress was extremely attentive and took excellent care of us. Looking forward to returning! 😃👍

Amazing ribs a must order! The host was very nice and helpful. Food came out fast , waitress was very nice and filled drinks without asking. We're visiting from Texas and would come again if ever back in town.

I was traveling to New Orleans and decided to stop at Memphis to grab a room and check out Beale street. Knowing that Tennessee is famous for the BBQ I wanted to grab some dinner while in town. I tried the “Pig on Beale” And I’ve got to say I left feeling like I still haven’t tried Tennessee bbq! Portion sizes were a joke for the cost! Nothing special about this place I make better ribs on the grill. I do know how the place got its name though because when we went we were “greeted” by a chubby little angry black man that looks like he’s permanently entered a Gary Coleman look alike contest. Maybe people with little man syndrome shouldn’t work jobs that require customer service. Save your money and go somewhere worth a damn!

They know their pork that's for sure!!! We had the sampler, ribs, pulled pork and smoked chicken thigh with fries and beans. Beans were really good, just beans, no extra junk added!!! Being from KC we were anxious try some Memphis BBQ and we were not disappointed!!!
