We always have a good visit. The buffet has a large asst of food, which makes all happy. Very sweet and attentive employees.

I wish i could rate -100 stars. staff was rude, right off the bat. didn't clean tables, or chairs before sitting. the food was disgusting. the plates were not well clean, food residue was still on. my friend had a biscuit, and biting into it found a piece of plastic. when we informed the manager, she only took $3 off bill. she excused it for a "prep bag" and that this happens every so often. I will never be coming back to this Shoney's again.

One of the worst Shoneys I have ever been to. In order to get access to a full booth the waitress had to clear off the table which 3 out of the 10 we're being used the rest was not cleaned off from prior customers. The buffet table instead of rotating how you're supposed to they put the new food on top of the old. More than half of their food on their Buffet was not fresh. The Waiting staff claim to be busy when few clientele was in the restaurant. For the price of the food you could have went to a 4-star restaurant. And the top it off on our way out we seen a waitress I'm sure it was the manager sneeze in her hands and continue to pour drinks for other customers. Very disappointed in food quality and customer service. Will never come to this place again to eat. This establishment desperately needs new Management.

I just had the worse experience at Shoney's. I'm a regular customer at the Shoney's restaurant in Smyrna Tn. Today I had lunch around 2:00 and ate off the lunch bar. My waitress was very nice and attentive. I have no complaints with her.The food was good as always. When it was time to pay no one was at the cash register, so the waitress that waited on me, yells in the back that I was waiting to be cashed out, well whoever she was yelling that too, never came at that time but had me wait for another 10 to 15 minutes. finally a lady came. As I was signing my credit card receipt, I informed her that it's not good customer service to have a customer waiting that long. She began to tell me that she has more than one job to do and that she didn't give a d**** call the corporate office. At this point I was shocked that she was speaking to me in that matter. I left the restaurant and called Shoney's and asked for the corporate number. The same rude lady answered the phone. I asked if she had the corporate number. She began to yell and curse me again. She stated that she didn't give a F*** for I could come back up there and her manager will be in the office tomorrow. This lady does not need to be working for your corporation. Never have I ever experienced anything like this before. She was so rude towards me all because I informed her that a customer(a regular customer at that) should not have to wait that long to cash out. I have filed a formal complaint with corporate office and hopefully something will be done to get her out the door.

Food bar was just nasty.. Waitress needed serious training. We did bring this to management's attention.
