Went around 530pm, only one person ahead of me. Ordered the $4.99 fish and shrimp special, which is one fish strip and 8 shrimp, plus 2 sides and 2 hush puppies, no drink. Was served very quickly and cheerfully. All sauces and drinks are serve yourself, no limits. The dish and shrimp were decent, tho shrimp smaller than pictured. Only about a dozen fries, tho some were large. Green beans are cooked with ham, and were good. Was in a hurry, so did not try any desserts, tho was full from the meal. Noticed on sign they now have oyster rolls, and will definitely get those next time. Dining area was pretty clean. Sauce area needed work. One sauce was out. Have eaten here before, and will again.

Don't let the pictures and ads fool you. Our first experience was blase. "Stuffed crab" should be spelled "krab" as it was fake meat. As for the other fish entrees, one could do just as well or better deep frying frozen seafood. Going to Captain D does save time and hassle of cooking your own but not worth the price. Upside, didn't get indigestion after! For us, the. "D" in Captain D stands for dissapointing.

Every time I go the drive thru wait is always long EVEN AFTER YOU ORDER but today it was 30mins LONG. On top of that they didn't put powered sugar on the funnel cake sticks and no caramel dipping sauce! The woman "manager" didn't even apologize! Then when I got home I realized THEY FORGOT OUR HUSH PUPPIES ! Is it bad enough she had to say "Make their food like you're making your own" and "We have too many people calling in" that's sad ! Worst location ever. Will never order here again.

The staff was friendly, however, the food was not good at all. My crab cakes were eggy or gooey from something. My food was just plain lousy.

No answer at the drive threw sat there for a good 5-10mins and no one said anything, no sign on speaker to say that it wasn't working. Tried to get back in line and we sat there another 5mins, seems like anytime (which is rare) that I come to this captain D's, they are always extremely slow and lack horribly in customer service.
