Ordered Fajita Combination salad. It came with a twist tie in it. If you order this, I hope you like the taste of corn tortillas, because that's the only flavor I tasted, even though they took off the tortilla chips. Service was mediocre at best. It doesn't take 20 minutes to refill a Dr. Pepper (which didn't get refilled in the end). In summation: do not eat here for a good dining experience. Proximity to the museum is NOT a good reason to eat here. Trust me when I say, "You can do better."

The service was top notch. The food was merely middle of the road. We loved our server, Paul. He could work at any higher level restaurant in town and probably be a manager. He is that good.

Love this little piece of Dallas history. The building is authentic and the food is delicious. I wouldn't put it down as the best Mexican food I've ever had but it's still pretty good quality. The roof top patio gives this place an extra star because it is incredible. Highly recommend.

Can't really complain. A staple when needing decent, fast, cheap food in this area of Dallas. Sometimes feels like a feed lot, but an accurate cross-section of modern-day America.

Super wife and I love El Fenix! This particular El Fenix has five star customer service! The food was wonderful and the decorations and atmosphere added to the wonderful time that we had together for lunch today! We are members of the birthday club so my wife received a coupon for an order of free Queso and guacamole. They served large portions of each for us! Parking is free for 2 hours at this location. We went in and had time to enjoy our meal while talking and enjoying each other's company. We were gone before the 2-hour mark. This particular El Fenix is definitely a nice place to take your significant other for a five-star dining experience on a special occasion!
