Went to Savor for Mother’s Day brunch. Sat on the patio, while enjoying all the activity of the park. The food lives up to its name, can be called “fresh”, as well... the lobster puffs are to die for, the salads were bountiful, and the seafood well prepared and fabulously delicious . Yeah, it wasn’t cheap, but fine dining is never inexpensive. This was an amazing outing! Will totally be back.

The location and ambiance easily make this chi-chi place a favorite among the diners. Mickey, our very young gentleman server easily made us feel at home in this place. He watched over us without being too assertive and very intelligently answered our questions. Even the young receptionist who took us to our table was most pleasant. The bartender was another star of this place. Dining outside seemed to be popular with those with children. This place for sure has all the right elements. We came for a relatively early dinner and surprised to find the place full of patrons already. The mojitos were good but when tweaked a bit more was made even more special to one’s palate, thanks to the bartender’s game response. Everything about this place made us feel welcome and get ready to have a good time. The cuisine is definitely tailored to the American palate. We had the lamb and the grouper and the scallops which were sure hits to those of us who ordered them.

While visiting the Savor , I had mixed feelings . The overall food was nice and they helped bring my birthday brunch to life throughout the week with contacting me with their baker . I had no problem with the hostess or the waiter , but the reason I’m writing this review is based on the way the general manager conducted himself . I was always raised that you should handle yourself with respect and treat others with it as well, but he acted as if me and my friends were ignorant and unintelligent by telling us that the bottle that was brought was illegal and proceeded to throw it away. His facial expressions and attitude made us feel unwelcome, but in the end made him look ignorant. I agree we were wrong , but we did not know we could not do this it’s not like we were being cheap we ordered drinks as well from the restaurant. I just feel that he should have carried himself in a different way and take a look at his coworkers first because he failed to Id us when we did order drinks. Sounds very illegal correct ? I did not catch his name but just know you represent your business and never step out of character learn how to talk to people in a respectful manner . God bless

The good: Nice location, good looking interior, staff was nice and polite. The bad: Service needs improvement! When we were seated, the waiter didn’t bother to check if everyone has the napkin (3 of us didn’t). Had to ask for it. Fork given to eat was bent in a weird way. Calamari was bad, sauce used is way too salty, of course kitchen put the sauce all over the dish... Couldn’t finish it. Other food was just OK, nothing special. For the prices these guys charge, I definitely expected something more than just a nice looking interior and location! 3 stars is the most I can give which I think is more than reasonable. Not impressed!

Great location, right in the middle of downtown. Beautiful park view and ambience. The food was just OK. It's probably better to come here just for a glass of wine.
