Really Great Southern Soul Food. Large portion sizes. More than enough to eat. Awesome bar and great drinks. I think the waitress I had was one of the best waitresses and most professional that I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended for soul southern food.

The food is good, however the service is horrible. I’ve been twice, and both times I’ve had to wait over an hour for my food. The most recent time I was told (after an hour of waiting) that I was more than welcome to PURCHASE a side salad while I waited. When my food finally came out, it came out a piece at a time. As I stated, the food was good, but I will NOT be back. The food did not hardly begin to make up for the lackluster service and hospitality.

I'm happy to have a soul food restaurant in Suffolk but the sides could be better. The food was okay but I wasn't blown away impressed. I am a soul food specialist!! Beautiful venue. Clean restrooms. Nice bar. I will continue to support. Just some small food adjustments needed.

Everything is not on the menu so be sure to ask what else they offer. A lot of the other reviews mention the wait times. We didn’t wait long for our food at all; it was an average time. Then again, not many people were in the restaurant. We went around 2:00 on a Friday. Great space & atmosphere. Seems to be a nice spot to rent for a party. The bar is huge so I think it’ll be a good happy hour spot too. Customer service was awesome. Main dishes were good but side dishes were mediocre at best. I’d like to come back to try different dishes, hear the live music, or the comedy night the waitress mentioned.

Not gonna leave anything bad since I haven't had the food, but come on man, how are you going to have your open sign off and the door locked when its past your posted open time and there are people inside.
