A lovely tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. The entire building was made to mirror an authentic Colonial house, and even the staff was dressed up in old garb, like the performs on the street. The food was VERY good, though the prices were a tad high. They can sit your party by itself, or they can sit you with another group. It was a lot of fun sitting with another couple and getting to know them! All in all, it was a great experience. Be sure to check their hours, they aren't open all the time.

Fun stop! It’s great to visit a period restaurant while you’re in town. Wait to get in was very long (to be expected), so we took a nice stroll through Williamsburg while we waited. The food was great, but not excellent, was expecting a little more. Service was good!

I was really underwhelmed unfortunately. The server was wonderful but the food was disappointing. For what it was it was over priced (although being in the heart of a tourist attraction and historical city I expected it to be pricey). The only reason i gave it 3 stars instead of 2 was the service and atmosphere... definitely gives you the feel of an 18th century tavern but again the food was not worth it. We'll try somewhere else next time we're in town

We try to come here every trip we make to Colonial Williamsburg. The food is terrific for the price, especially the BBQ and Brunswick stew. Ate here this past Christmas Eve and the ambience was perfect. The waits to be seated can be long but are worth it.

We went here for dessert, and had the chocolate spoon cake with ice cream. The ice cream was wonderful, and the cake was very tasty as well. Topped off with Root Beer and it was a lovely evening stop!
