We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and the Capital Grille was our choice. We were not disappointed! We were 20 minutes early for our reservation, but we were promptly seated. Our table was decorated with confetti for our special occasion and three members of the staff wished us a happy anniversary. The food was exceptional, and the wine list was expansive. The server was knowledgeable and attentive while being unobtrusive. Perfect in every way.

Exceptional service in a moody, well trafficked environment. Food is A+ and worth the price point. I suggest sitting at the bar and ordering off the bar menu after work. The beef tartar and calamari are top notch. Wines by the glass are lovely.

Really not impressed especially for the price! All the sides we ordered were flavorless. The asparagus was pretty much raw. The scalloped potatoes were tasteless! Steaks themselves were not impressive at all. The service was fantastic but when you go to eat at an expensive place I expect excellent food as well. The French onion soup was pretty good and so were the salads but that was it.

Exquisite establishment on the historic Pennsylvania Avenue. The restaurant itself is visually appealing and well-designed, with the aesthetic quality alone deserving a full five stars. The food as well deserves a full five stars! One of the best steaks I've ever had was here (New York Strip, highly recommend). I loved eating here, the waiter was incredibly friendly and personable, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for upscale dining in DC.

Best aged beef I've ever experienced. Wonderful knowledgeable staff and chefs. I highly recommend this dining experience if you are in Washington,DC area. Lots of things to do and places to visit. This resturant is pricey but worth every penny.
