The food was excellent. The service staff is polite and knowledgeable. The meal preparation was timely and there was no lag between courses. I highly recommend Mon Ami Gabi!

Absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful, no rush whatsoever on getting your fed and out the door, very French in taking the time to enjoy your meal. Fabulous wine selection!

Food was excellent. Our waiter was good. He never tried to rush us or other guests. Was helpful with both food and wine selections. Because of this there were waits between his visits. Had 7:30 reservations and was seated about 7:50. Left at around 10:00. Only issue we encountered was when they ran out of a special. Our waiter suggested making a similar dish from an appetizer. Great idea but kitchen had trouble executing it, with two tries. I think just a lack of communication. Manager was excellent in making it good. All in all a very enjoyable meal that took a little to long.

Everything that we tried was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Located in the landmark Belden-Stratford, Mon Ami is a bit of a landmark itself. The menu changes enough to respect the seasons but stays just stable enough to bring back its regulars, mostly Lincoln Park neighbours with the occasional out-of-towners. The French Cuisine is expertly prepared and covers the range of traditional bistro fare, and the wine list is respectable: the selection of wines by the glass is particularly varied and plentiful. Staff seem to have been there for ever, a fact many patrons enjoy: dinner at Mon Ami is the next best thing to having dinner at your best friend's house.
