We have been to Villa Ravenna many times over the years. It has long been our go to place for special occasions as the food was delectable and the service and atmosphere impeccable. Sadly, this is no longer the case. The last couple of visits have been a little sub par but still respectable, however, this visit was just not good all the way around. After listening to the list of specials relayed by the waitress, I chose the halibut which was supposed to be prepared with caramelized onions and capers. She also stated it came with a couple of asparagus spears. What I received was a woefully overcooked piece of fish covered in diced onions barely sauteed with capers. Clearly the definition of caramelized onions was lost on the chef. While the fish was a good portion size, it was so dry it was not enjoyable. And alas, when the waitress stated that it came with a couple of asparagus spears, she wasn't kidding, there were literally two asparagus spears on it, one of which was so tough it was inedible. To be fair, two in our party of four enjoyed the flavor of their food quite a bit. However, that being said, even the enjoyable food had a rather poor presentation. While tasty, it came to the table looking like a plate of cafeteria food. Given the prices here one expects to be wowed, unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the bar that this restaurant is striving for.

We have truly found THE Italian place for us. Very well decorated, fitting for fine dining, or semi-casual. The service was exceptional, and food was...YUM!! I suggest asking for the specials...they're almost always amazing! Highly recommend this hidden gem!!

From scratch Italian food, even most of the noodles are made in house each day. The seafood was amazing one of the few places in town I have had shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly and not overdone. It is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it for a special night out.

Very good food. I don't recommend the lobster, but it isn't a seafood place. Creme Brulee was great!

$90 for two delivered the value of a decent $35 meal. $90 is a higher bar for which Villa Ravenna did not deliver. A table for two conveys certain expectations. Seating a party of two next to a drunken, obnoxious 14-person table is incompetent service. Supposedly made-to-order angel hair pasta was soggy and bland. The interior is nice and has potential for a good atmosphere. In our experience, it did not deliver value for the high price it demanded. Might give it another chance.
