We ordered the 5 dishes Taste menu, each has very surprised combinations of ingredients, and gave different layers of flavors. Really enjoyed every dishes. The very knowledgeable and friendly staff made the dining experience even more fun. One person in our party has food allergy, and the staff double check the ingredients on each dishes, and chef made adjustments to accommodate our special need. Really appreciate the efforts.

Very good food. The chefs "table" was at the bar with a very good view of the small kitchen. We shared an appetizer and each ate half of an entree before switching. Both were very tasty. The couple next to me ordered the chefs menu with the wine pairing and we're talking very highly about each course they were eating. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

The biggest letdown in my trip to Portland. My girlfriend and I spent about a month planning a trip to Portland and carefully narrowed down a list of maybe 30 restaurants to a few we could try in the weekend we were visiting. We read great things about Le Pigeon and thought it to be one of the best restaurants in Portland. This was our 'treat yo self' restaurant. Disappointing on so many levels. It was a 3+ hour dinner service. The food wasn't memorable (some dishes were, but in a bad way). You get the picture. Don't think we'll be back any time soon.

My friend and I were lucky enough to walk in on a Thursday night and get seated at the bar. The bread, the salad, the duck, and the lamb were all amazing. The atmosphere is cool and the chef was friendly. I’m probably more of a sweet than savory kind of guy but this was very savory and matched the hype.

The food was amazing. Highly recommend the restaurant. It is small but worth the sometimes cramped seating. Good for smaller parties and wonderful date night spot.
