Art Van Flooring - Warren

READ THIS WHOLE REVIEW TRUST ME IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME: Walked in who I know as Cass now was with another customer still got greeted immediately. Not even 5 minutes later he came over to help me even with that other customer still being there. Showed him an estimate I got from home depot on some carpet I did not have much of a budget he not only matched the price but he beat it by hundreds of dollars! Got higher end/better carpet too. Cass was able to give me a rough estimate with out me even having the exact measurements. That "rough estimate" ended up being spot on! He made the process so fast & easy for me I did not have to do anything. Cass is very professional, helpful, & honest. He called me numerous times telling me exactly what was going on & gave me free financing without interest for 12 months. Had carpet put in 2 bedrooms & on basement stairs (btw). The carpenters that came were very kind & professional too. This is not my first excellent experience with Art Van in general they work with every kind of consumer rich poor does not matter & they treat them all the same exact way! I had a very similar experience at Mattress World which is now Pure Sleep right next door to them about 2-3 years back. I purchased a mattress & box spring from mattress world & did not choose to have them shipped because I lived in warren village apartments which is right behind these two business's. When I went to go get them it was raining really bad & they were a lot heavier then I anticipated. I came with my cousin but we were unable to carry them to my apt. The man at the desk said they would have to be technically "shipped" which would be a cost since we were unable to carry them/pick them up as planned. Over hearing our dilemma a young manager/CEO in a suit came over to me and offered to carry my queen size mattress & box spring in the rain all the way to my apt! I thought he was joking we were all in shock including the man at the desk. We could not believe it!!! For the life of me I can not remember this mans name & until this day I regret not going back & getting his information so I could of properly thanked him (hoping he will see this review somehow & remember me). Anyways, he carried them both one by one in the rain by himself all the way to my apt. Thanks to him I had a bed to sleep on that night & I did not have to go try to find someone as I had NO ONE. He is a manager/CEO of a huge company wearing a nice suit at that location just for that day for whatever job reason & he did that for me? When he really DID NOT have to! Wow! What a humble heart makes you want to be a better person. He was my guardian angel that day I will never forget him. Art van is lucky to have him. If your reading this and remember me THANK YOU SO MUCH. Will be buying all my new furniture for my new home from them & I need everything! cant wait! =) All in All NOT GOING TO ARTVAN IN GENERAL IS A MISTAKE! & if you really want service go to the 14 mile between van dyke & mound locations trust me!

I didn't care for the high pressure sale or the misleading ads to get me in the door but the sales guy was nice at least.

I would never purchase ANYTHING from this company again it was the worst flooring experience I have ever had in my life. The customer service was an absolute joke!!! As I was looking around for some carpet a man came up to us and helped us out. He later came out with a new tablet and told us that with our purchase it was free. The men came out and measured my basement flooring and then returned a few days later to find out they measured wrong and didn't have enough carpet and then also said we were no longer getting the tablet becasue we didn't qualify because of the discounted carpet. How can a saleman tell me I'm going to recieve the tablet and then have the installation people come and tell me no. I then called corporate and they were very rude over the phone and said i was pretty much beating a dead horse and they weren't going to do anything. So now I had to wait 4 more days for the installers to come back to finsih. They told me they would be coming between 12-2 well they didn't end up coming unitl 4:45 and I sat home wasting my day without even getting a phone call. I would never tell anyone to go to World of Floors and I also won't purchase anything from Art Van on 14 mile in Warren for having such a bad company work out of their building!!!
