One of the most unprofessional delivery companies I have ever had to deal with. I had hired Leave it to Lucy for my wedding to pick up the food and midnight lunch. I had spoken directly to the company and arranged pick-ups with plenty of time to have the food delivered out of town. Leave it to Lucy ensured me that she would have it picked up without a problem. On the day of the wedding, while we were getting set to enter the reception we received a phone call that the food had not been picked up yet (at this time the food should have already been delivered to its destination). After a phone call to Leave it to Lucy it became apparent that this company had a major issue, they had no idea where their driver had gone and could not get a hold of him/her. We received no answers as to if/when our food was going to be picked up. Eventually they sent a driver but did not send a vehicle large enough to fit the order (as we requested a van and not a small SUV). Once the driver realized the food wasn't going to fit in their SUV they took off and basically left us high and dry. Luckily the company that prepared the food for us, stepped up and delivered not only their food but the midnight lunch that was picked up at a separate location.
Leave it to Lucy is a delivery service that has some serious flaws and nearly ruined our wedding by almost leaving 140+ people without a meal. The lack of communication when our issue had come up and their inability to keep us in the loop was beyond pathetic. You really let us down that day but luckily there are other companies in this city that were able to clean up the mess you made.
