I don't have a buzzer connected to my building, called customer service twice trying to tell them all they have to do is call me when the package arrives. All I hear is "drivers don't have company cellphones". What's the point? You might as well cancel the delivery and just ship it to the pick up spot, waste of time and gas, I can't wait at the door all day. Such a simple request. Now I have to figure out how to pick up a 30lb computer without a car, all the way from their pick up location close to the airport. They have all this customer service line, social media people responding to complaints, but you still see people posting the same kind of complaints. What does that tell you? They don't really bother to fix things. The drivers don't even make any effort to have it deliver the goods to customers, they just show they made a trip, the rest is out of their hands. The company should really look elsewhere such as China, where there's more e-commerce and logistics activities, people can literally buy anything online and have it delivered to their doorstep in less than 2 days. If they run a company like this there, they'll be out of business in no time.
And no, I don't need some social media person to respond to me and say sorry to hear that and ask for my tracking number, because you aren't genuinely trying to help me, I'll just find a friend to drive me to pick up the item, even after all the shipping and handling is paid for.
