DHL / Loomis Express

If your package is being delivered internationally to you, be warned, it will be shipped to your country and no further till you pay duty, even if you pay for express delivery but they won't tell you this.

OK. So I will try to be positive. First off and a good start, it’s in a good location which is easy to find. I don’t know who owns the franchise in Vernon, but how you can get away with representing a global carrier like DHL in this area speaks volumes about how both Loomis and DHL feel about customer service. I’m guessing it must be DHL pays you so little, that you can only man a Pickup desk for 2 hours each day, during the time most of the Adult population are at work. Do you actually understand how inconvenient it is only to be able to collect something only between 10am and 12pm Mon-Fri? This is 2018 guys, not the dark ages. It’s bad enough having to come and collect something from you as we are literally 3mins drive outside the city limits sign you would ordinarily deliver in, but frankly, your opening times really suck. But hey, It’s rural Canada, so you can get away with this BS for now. Enjoy the easy life while you can eh? Not enough competition, but that is the BC way.

Absolute garbage. This company needs to go. Management should be embarrassed of how poorly this company runs. If I could rate 0 stars, that would still be too many.

Absolutely terrible hours!!! How are people who work, especially in retail who can't request a day when the schedule is already posted, supposed to pick up their parcels if the office is only open M-F 10-12?!? Any way to contact directly to request a longer hold of said parcel, HECK NO! You gotta phone here and there and jump through hoops and dodge a line of fire to get a "NOTE" attached to it and then you must call the 800 number again before you go to pick it up to see that it's still there. Hopefully it's still there when I get a weekday off in 5 days!!! UGH!

Like others, I would give 0 stars if I could. Package was supposed to be delivered to me, but wasn't. Tracking information online said "held at terminal" for over 2 weeks, but didn't say which one. Called and emailed EIGHT TIMES before I got a response saying it is on hold for pick up at the branch, which is only open for 4 hours a day (5 days a week). 4 weeks from when I placed the order I finally found out where it was. I have a lot of dealings with couriers through work, and we have never used DHL/Loomis, and now I know why. NEVER AGAIN.
