Purolator

I waited at home for your driver to arrive. There was no audible knock on the door, nor was the doorbell rung. The notice on the door listed the time the driver called as 11:55 a.m. There were two of us (and a dog) in the house. When I called the number on the notice, I was told that they could not contact the driver but merely his depot, and that there was no way of knowing if he would return today. The suggestion was that I should be willing to waste another morning waiting for him to call again tomorrow. Route #382

They don't even leave a delivery notice when they come. I only found out they attempted a delivery from the Amazon website.

Our package was delivered in a tree half way down our driveway and we were never notified that it was there. It spent a full week out in the elements until the same driver brought us another package at which point he got it out of the tree for us and brought it to our door with one side all soaked. To top it off, the tracking number claimed that the package had been delivered to our door, which is a blatant lie.

Please tell your driver to knock the door. I was home until 2 o'clock and I didn't hear any sound on the door. Now I have to wait another day and hope I get my new expensive item

Never had any positive interactions with peterborough purolator, I don't understand how a company can get away with treating customers the way they do and Not do their jobs the way they should on top of that. Not once have the drivers knocked or rung the doorbell (which I've seen both thru the window and on my security cameras) they will either drop the package off and rush away..and when I say drop i mean DROP the package next to the door not place. In my experience have I never received a 'failure to deliver' slip on my door which I just yesterday should have gotten but never did and actually had someone sitting here waiting to get the package for me but no one showed up however the web page stated that an attempt was made at a specific time but even if my friend was lying that they never showed up my cameras don't which I did review. So I spend my hard earned money to purchase the item(s) purolator delivers to my door which I rarely receive when dealing with this company, but not only that I pay purolator to do me a service they do not do or complete..so almost every time I deal with them I now have to spend not only more of my hard earned money but my valuable time to drive 45 minutes - 1 hour ONE WAY to pick the package up..how is this right?! And when I speak to customer service after waiting on the phone for over 10 minutes They seem to never be able to help me like yesterday for an example, I was told I wouldn't be reimbursed for the failed service, I was given false information which the next person I spoke to confirmed, and not only that but the person hung up on me without reason. I rarely will ever post negative reviews even if I had bad service somewhere I just brush it off but when it comes to years of disregard for my time, money, and property I've gotten pretty sick and tired of it. FedEx, UPS, Canada Post deliver to my home and have for many years..the sad thing is Canada Post will get a package to my home on time and in proper condition before Purolator could which was proved yesterday. Overall I do not recommend this Purolator branch, if you can avoid it by any means please do.
