FedEx is by far the worst shipping company I've ever dealt with. My package is almost a week late now.
Monday:
Expected delivery date. First I ask them to deliver my package to a FedEx location, the delivery driver screws up and tries to deliver it to my door, I call them within 10 minutes of getting this notification and said I can go home if he tries to redeliver because the delivery guy should still be in town but instead of doing that the driver said he wouldn't redeliver and took my package back to Bellville.
Tuesday:
THEN I call customer support to ask them to deliver the package to a FedEx location again which they said they would. Okay package is confirmed to be delivered the next day. The next day comes around and the FedEx guy doesn't stop at the drop off location, it goes back to Belleville.
Wednesday:
THEN I call back again and tell them to again deliver the package to a FedEx drop off store. This time they don't send out their own courier, and they don't get it to me that day, INSTEAD they give it to a different shipping company completely so now I have a very expensive package with no tracking number, supposedly being delivered to the drop off store.
Thursday:
Package isn't there! Now I call back and am told that the package is going to be delivered by tomorrow by the latest. But at this point I really doubt that.
FedEx is by far the worst shipping company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with, customer support is great and friendly but has no sense of what's going on. In the future if I have the choice of having a package delivered by FedEx or another service, I will choose any other shipping option available. This is ridiculous
Edit: uploaded a photo of a FedEx delivery van 2 streets over from my house. They claimed in my last call to customer support that I lived in a remote location, and couldn't send their trucks out here.
