Today, I had the unfortunate experience of going here to pick up a freight delivery that never arrived at its destination.
First thing I noticed was the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the office, as well as the unkempt, slightly rude employees.
I was asked what I needed, and promptly explained the reason for my presence.
I furnished the invoice number, along with my lisence, for a copy.
The lady typed away to see that the driver had just arrived and his truck was yet to be unloaded.
Perhaps I neglected to mention, I was told to "show up after 6:30 and everything will be ready."
It is now 7:15 p.m. and I am currently pacing around the loading ramp, waiting to be acknowledged by any sort of human being,so as to be notifed of their intentions.
Unaware of my wait time, I phoned the people on the other side of the building to find out what I should do.
Unfortunately for me, it is their "busy time," and she is "not sure how far along they are back there." And to "just hang tight, they'll bring it out when it's ready."
So, here I sit, wasting a good portion of my Friday night.
