Rude is an understatement... I don't usually take the time to write a negative review, but this experience takes the cake. My family was trying to enjoy the Canada long weekend and were treated with nothing but disrespect, belittlement and rudeness by the park owners. We had been here in the past and enjoyed our stay, so wanted to try the park again. We booked 3 sites all together for a total of 1 week. Within less than 3 hours of being at the park we were given no warning and told we were being too loud (at 7pm - way before quiet hours even started), we could no longer play music, and that the police would be called if we didn't quiet down immediately. We were told group camping was against the rules and no partying whatsoever. My family is a respectful group that only wanted to spend time together and were never aware of any of these rules before booking even though it was made clear we were all coming together. I have never experienced such poor customer service from anyone and to have my family feel like we were breaking rules that called for a call to the authorities is ridiculous. This place does not deserve the business it receives and I hope all will think twice before booking. Being in a place of 'power' doesn't mean you can treat people this way. Lost business opportunity for sure.

Poor customer service is an understatement...Over the Canada Day long weekend my rather large but respectful family went on our annual camping trip booking 3 trailer sites and 3 tent sites. In less than 3 hours of being at the park our family was approached by the owners and treated with nothing but disrespect, belittlement and rudeness by the park owners themselves. We were given no warnings and were told, more like yelling at us at 7pm(way before quiet hour even started) that we were being too loud as well as our music. After being in complete shock, we went to the office to confirm the expectations, when speaking to the owners once again he used his “power” against us and threatened to call the police if we didn’t quiet down immediately. He mentioned that this wasn’t group camping or a place to party; when we clearly started at booking time it was a group of us. Following this, we had visitors checking in the next day. When our visitors checked in at the office the girl asked for our names and campsite number, once we gave her the information she bluntly said to us and the rest of the staff in the office that we were the ones causing trouble and made it aware to everyone in the office including the public. She then went to get the owner who once again, was rude and disrespectful. For the entire week we were known as “trouble” and we struggled to enjoy ourselves as we felt like we were walking in egg shells. This place DOES NOT deserve the reviews or business it gets as the owners seem to be disrespectful and rude toward their customers in previous reviews as well, being racist as well. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Very disappointed. Yes, we are a very large group coming together as a family on this Canada Day Weekend. A lot of us are from all over Ontario and some of us from the Western side of Canada. We came together to THIS campground only to be thoroughly disappointed from the beginning. Check-in was extremely and unnecessarily slow, it took 15-20mins a family. After checking in and settling in on Saturday June 29th (Canada Day Weekend), we did put music on. I expect a campsite to understand on the weekend, especially a HOLIDAY, that it would be loud until a curfew time. Unfortunately, we got shutdown WAY EARLY at 7pm. The owner was VERY RUDE, yelled at us to not only turn the music off (which we understood and complied too) BUT THEN TO SAY NO TALKING, our voices carry. We are family members who haven't seen each other in months/years and you're going to tell us on the CANADA LONG WEEKEND, not to even talk to each other? The owner NEVER gave us a warning but rather just shut down the party and said not to talk the rest of the weekend. I didn't realize I signed my entire family up for a quiet retreat. Pathetic. Don't come here if you plan to have groups or any fun whatsoever. You have to be an absolute saint from start to finish, or else be threatened by the owner.

Visiting Woodland Park was only our second trip booked in our new Airstream for the Summer so, while we are VERY new to the RV world it's not hard to see that this place is top notch. Upon arrival we could tell how meticulously maintained this place is--from the perfectly manicured lawns and gardens to the various amenities throughout the park. We were welcomed by incredibly friendly staff and made our way to our beautiful corner site for the long weekend. The site, again, was immaculate with a pristine concrete pad (which we quickly found ourselves to be huge fans of, having stayed in a very grassy site previously) and all of the necessary connections--including cable, should you be so inclined! Througout our four day stay we enjoyed the indoor pool (loved the fact that there were adult swim times -- nice touch), walking around the immense space, the careful attention they give to keeping the site quiet and family friendly and loved the fact that a $10 lot of firewood was three times the size of the $10 bag at our previous campsite! The bundle we got gave us a sizeable fire every night of the four we stayed--and we still left behind 2 pieces! We loved our stay at woodland park and look forward to visiting again in the years to come!

I only gave one star because less than that was not an option. The owner was extremely rude telling us to immediately turn off the music at 7pm (quiet hours are at 11pm) without any warning beforehand. He said if we did not quiet down the police would be called. We were targeted for the rest of the weekend as the "problem" guests. We had more guests visit the next day and they were immediately called out in front of other guests checking in for being a part of "that" camping group and the owner was notified that they were joining us. How embarrassing. Come to this site if you want to walk on eggshells for your weekend away. At best the service was poor and at worst it was degrading. Never again.
