So beautiful. My daughter went here for Brownies. I loved how it looked. My daughter had a fantastic time. I like how tucked away it is too. The parking is accessible. I gave it a 4 because the lodge my daughter stayed in lost water while they were there. I don't know if that means the facilities are old. Having said that, the water was restored that same day, so their camp wasn't cancelled.

Great camp for girl guides and runs on volunteers as well as donations. The people running it deserve a gold medal. Donate to the camp and keep it for the girl guides

My daughter LOVES Camp Woolsey and her mother and grandmother loved it before her. She comes home excited for the next summer and I have full confidence in the leadership of the camp staff. One of the most beautiful properties I have seen for a summer camp and an interesting history which has led to years of wonderful traditions being built over many decades. The property remains in great shape. The support of the local guiding community will ensure that this camp has a long future.

Well what can I say about Camp Woolsey. This is a Girl Guides of Canada owned property. I grew up going to Camp here with the Brownies, Girl Guides, and Pathfinders. It is an amazing experience. Lots of trails to walk, a beach to swim at, and indoor and outdoor camping facilities (tents or cabins). You get to learn archery , take swimming lessons, and gain so much confidence in all the activities that you're doing away from home. Now my daughter gets to enjoy in the same experiences that I did as in Guiding. Until they close all GGC camps that is. Unfortunately tough times call for tough decisions and all Girl Guide properties are scheduled for closure between now and 2020 I believe.

Clean, nice buildings. Not too far from the city. Great scenery.
