Won't be going back!

I used to like this vet because they had reasonable pricing and the vets were great about not selling you on things you didn't need but actually helping. I tried to go back for a vaccine routine update, and I had the most difficult time trying to get the front desk people to let me know what vaccines were due. They told me I never gave them previous records for my pet, which I absolutely did - I forwarded them our previous email chain. They then quoted me verbatim off the sheet (three years old) which vaccines I was "due for", not taking into account the various updates I had done through their clinic since becoming a client. This really shook my confidence in their knowledge and abilities, and on top of that, they just saw my dog a couple of weeks ago for an exam and required another one to be administered before vaccines. Seems a bit like a cash grab, they obviously don't pay for quality techs or front desk people either. It used to be worth it to save a few bucks, not anymore.

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC

Vet techs are absolutley horrific. They are always hiring and never get good techs. They are rude, talk loudly behind your back, cant understand basic paperwork, have to read through paperwork to give you information on after care for surgery (no schooling?), lie, and just overall ruin the experience. One of the vets is unwelcoming, hard to understand, judgemental and pushes unneeded procedures. The other is more underdstanding, but will also roll his eyes in your face and talk down to you.

When I took my adopted Cat to their location, as it was mandatory for my adoption agency, they made me hold down my cat for his vaccines and microchip. I came out with scratches and bleeding on my belly and arms. When I decided to go to my vet for neutering, they scanned him for the chip and found none.... So I called Ramsay back and they said they didn't give it to him! Ummmm I held him down. You guys handed me the tag and paperwork. Then made me wait so you could finish registering it to him. The whole process of this adoption was a disaster.

Would absolutely recommend this vet, not only are they extremely thorough with their examinations, but will go above and beyond for your pet, the ladies at the front are extremely friendly and helpful as well. We had a dog that ended up with diabetes, and I cannot tell you how helpful they were in managing it. I cannot say enough good things about this vet office! If I could give them more than five stars I would! Thank you for all the help Ramsey animal clinic!

I really like Ramsay Animal Clinic. I've recently moved to the other side of the city but still prefer to make the drive there. The vets are very experienced and loving toward my dogs and I find their pricing to be reasonable.

Amazing veterinarians whom truly care for your pets well being. They are super kind, caring, compassionate and want only the best for them. Above and beyond service with exceptional bed side manners when it comes to the hard parts. Highly recommend them if you're looking for the best veterinary team for your pets.

I went to Ramsay because my dog had a deep bite. They gave us an appointment promptly and gave us alternatives of treatment and medication. Very professional and the treatment healed my dog in one week.

I put in a prescription request last Wednesday, the receptionist guaranteed me that the meds would be there Friday, she said that I didn’t need to call first it was fine to just go in. I went to pick them up on Monday just in case they needed a couple more days to get things together. I was told that they weren’t there. Nobody thought to call me to tell me it was delayed. It would have been nice to be given the heads up that I didn’t need to waste my time driving there for a medication that wasn’t even in the building. I would have given them one star but their prices are extremely reasonable.
