A wonderful, caring staff that treated our 11 y/o Newfound (Calypso) with kindness, patience and professionalism after her two day journey from Hawaii which included nearly 14 hours of crating/flight/travel. She’d had a hard time walking, her rear legs would drop out from under her and sometimes she moved similarly to two-people wearing a horse costume. As a senior she has some arthritis compounded by being a little pigeon-toed but was obviously uncomfortable and just not quite right. Not only did they accept her as a new patient (we’d had some trouble locating vets that either were accepting new patients or had appointments available), Debby stated she’d call if an earlier appointment was available and she actually did! Anna and Dr Bell handled her like family during the exam and recommended a simple and effective treatment/prescription to assist her.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Kiefer for over 13 years, and have consistently been impressed and very satisfied with him and his staff. I value his expertise and thoroughness, and also the care that he takes to explain everything and to advise pet owners. The staff have always been very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Olympia Veterinary Hospital. NOTE 2/20/18: Dr. Kiefer has retired. The same friendly, knowledgable staff are there. I haven't met the new vet yet.

I've had good experiences with Dr Mike. I brought my brat terrier mix in because of a lump on her chest, and he biopsied it and determined it was benign. I decided to have it removed anyway, since it was cramping my dog's style. The surgery was booked quickly, and went smoothly. The price was very reasonable. The office atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
