Went into this location today to browse around. I wasn’t looking for anything specific but always enjoyed going into different locations to see what they have to offer. I took my time looking through the small animals/reptile section and made my way to the back where they have the animals for sale. Didn’t stay long but made my way back up to the front. Making my way upfront I went to the side of the store where the cats were up for adoption. In this area they had the small animals up for ‘adoption’ - which I assumed were kept in a high traffic area to get the most attention for higher adoption rates. This store was very busy this day. I went and looked at 2 rabbits - both of which had no food. Secondly, I saw a much smaller cage with what I assumed was a hamster. I noticed the hamster laying lifeless in the middle of the cage which is out of character for a nocturnal and energetic pet. I went up to the cage and after many attempts to wake this hamster I was shocked to realize it was actually dead. This location is open Sunday’s from 10AM TO 7PM. I was at this location at 2PM. Which means NO ONE checked on this animal in the morning to confirm it had food/water for 4 hours. Again, this animal had no food. I’m not sure of the daily process they have to care for these animals but I’m shocked by the lack of care they receive. As I left one of the ‘pet care providers’ came up and confirmed this animal was intact deceased by smashing the cage 4-5 different times to confirm. Wish these animals had better treatment.

Staff are lousy Products are expensive and had a couple of weird incidents with cat treats being pulled off the belt, neurotic staff, unqualified leadership. My cat died shortly after this due to organ failure. One cant help but wonder if it had something to do with the inferior products here, not sure but the new dog only gets Petvalu products.

Super friendly staff Go there recently for grooming services. The staff know their service offerings, so if you're looking for "customized" grooming packages, they know their offerings well enough to fit what you're asking for into one of their predefined services.
