When I booked my appointment I got one about a week in advance, first thing in the morning. When I brought in my dog there were at least 5 other dogs that came in at the same time. It is a very small place and my dog is a very small dog... the other dogs were huge. They weren't in individual cages, just left to roam around in a small room. They asked me upon arrival "if my dog is okay with other dogs" and I felt like I didn't have a choice one way or another, my dog needed a grooming. They asked how I wanted my dog's hair cut. I said I wanted it short because my dog's hair grows really fast. Essentially they said "no" that they wouldn't cut my dog's hair short because of his breed. When I came back to get him 3 hours later, he was "done"... but when I got home I had to go over him again because the cut was terrible in some spots (he was clean and it was mostly okay). I had to trim the top of his head and around his mouth one side was about an inch longer than the other. When I picked him up the first time he yelped and I thought I had hurt him... but somehow he has been hurt. For the past two days now he hasn't been jumping up on the couch, can't get inside the house without being lifted (it's ONE step), can't go up to stairs to the next level in our house, is constantly shaking if he hasn't found a comfortable spot in which to be lying down and whines every time I try to pick him up. The big moment today was when I went to put on his leash to go outside for a walk (which is normally his most exciting, spinning, jumping, thrilled moment of the day) he just sat and whined when I approached him with the leash! He didn't want to go anywhere! I don't even know what to do besides write this review. I would have liked to know if he was hurt during the grooming or if another dog hurt him or something... I hope he recovers. Boo, boo times a thousand to this groomer. I would not recommend it to anyone. Ever.

Adrianne Rous why don’t you just call back if it’s that important to you? Never had any issues with this place as they have great service and they do great work.

Absolutely love the service and attention to detail at Paris & Co. We are so comfortable leaving our dog in their very capable and caring hands. Our dog is always happy to arrive and never fusses when i leave him there. To me that says that he is very well treated when he goes there!
