"Avis provides exceptional services and high caliber customer service. I have used Avis services since 2003 in US and Canada and a former National Emerald Elite member. The Manager at this downtown location Joseph and including both Teddy and Owen exemplify a high-level of courteous, friendly and professional service."

Avis Yonge & Bloor has incredible customer service. Both Josephs at this location went out of their way to help me. Will definitely rent here again!

Awful experience with the staff at this location. The man at the counter wouldn’t even entertain the notion of trying to help problem solve when he was unable to swipe my card after two tries. He was rude and unprofessional and appalled at the idea that he might have to expend effort to help a customer. On the other hand, the telephone customer service people are very helpful and friendly, solving my problems as best they could. This review only reflects the location at 80 Bloor St.

If I can give them -300000 I would. They had terrible customer service. My purse was stolen with the car key in it. I paid for road side assistance and contacted them to help. They asked me to wait by the car for 1.5 hours instead of going to deal with the fact that I lost all my card s and all my identification until they can a send towing truck. After waiting for an hour, they called back telling me they could not find a towing company with the right height clearance to go in an underground parking downtown Toronto !!! And they wanted me to wait for 3 hours for the 3rd contacted towing company. How is that reasonable? If anything happens to the car I liable so I am supposed to wait but also I need to deal with my stolen purse situation. I got charged for gas because since my purse was stolen, I never managed to fill up the gas before I drop it off, parking and an extra day for being late. I also wasted 2 hours of my time and had to leave work as all this happened during my lunch break. I called customer service to complain and all I got was we cannot do anything. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I am furious and I intend to leave the exact hateful review in every location I find. I will never suggest your company to anyone neither will I ever use your services ever again.
