Review Canadian bbq boys AWFUL Experience

I had Canadian BBQ boys come in to clean my bbq and diagnose the issues.They cleaned it and diagnosed the following : 1. It requires a new manifold as one of the three burners was not working properly 2. A complete new starter ignition module 3, the bbq cleaning was average at best,. 4. Trying to get a hold of someone there is difficult but they do eventually get back to you 5. When asked to order the parts they had no model number of my bbq in which they diagnosed …. 6. They couldn’t do the repair as they said they were not licensed to change a bbq manifold As a result of this poor experience we took the bbq apart and found the following the igniter unit did not need to be replaced rather that the wiring harness was chewed up and needed to be replaced. There was a blockage in the burner and we cleaned it out and it’s working well so the manifold and parts were not required,The part that they diagnosed would have cost about $900. What was required was $200.. I do not recommend them

Excellent Initial Experienced, Completely Ruined.

Absolutely deplorable. If you're in the Hamilton area (or probably anywhere else in the GTA/Hamilton area) do not use these guys. They damaged the igniter on my BBQ and essentially told me I was lying about it, and would not come fix it without me having to pay for the cost of replacement parts. It's not about the cost of the parts - it's about good customer service and doing the right thing. Why would I pay $200+ for a BBQ cleaning just to try to screw the company into fixing my igniter for free? That would be the most expensive and most runaround ever for something that is relatively cheap and easy to fix. You broke it. Just come fix it.

My son heard about this service from a friend and decided to give me a great Fathers Day gift! The guys were able to come up to my house 2 days ahead of the original date which was awesome! Eric and Brad contacted me the day before to let me know what time I could expect them, and the boys showed up exactly when they said they would! Extremely friendly and polite! Truly a great representation of the company! They got to work right away. My Weber Genesis had a grease fire last summer which was a nasty mess..... you sure wouldn't know it after the guys were done! This thing looks as good as it did years ago when I bought it! This is one of those jobs nobody really wants to do..... It was the best money spent in a very long time! If you have a BBQ and don't clean it well every year..... call these guys. You will be extremely satisfied! And you might just avoid a nasty grease fire! Eric and Brad..... thank you! You did an awesome job!

Our BBQ was serviced today by Brandon Stapley. Arrived on time with prior phone notification . Very consciences and courteous. Took the time to explain what he was going to do and what to expect . Challenging job as the BBQ is located on a balcony of a condo unit, not lending itself to be cleaned with water soaking as per usual. Three hours latter fabulous result with a BBQ looking like new. Our deck spotless. Appointment ended with some useful cleaning and maintenance tips. Excellent service!

I wasn't sure if I'd get value for the money - but I got much more than I expected. The service person was courteous, professional and very thorough. A four-year old BBQ ended up looking like new, and the electronic starter started working again after a year on the blink. He took everything apart and cleaned each item meticulously. I got real value and will use Canadian BBQ Boys again.

The company was quick to respond to my email request for information. Laura called me back and answered all my questions about their service. She was very pleasant to deal with so I booked an appointment on the spot. On the day of the appointment, Zach called to confirm what time he would arrive. He was punctual and professional. Part way through the job, he called me out to show me what he had done while the pieces were out of the BBQ so I could see that he had removed the grunge from the bottom. When he was done, the BBQ was nice and clean and "almost new" looking (they can't get rid of ALL the discolouration on the metal parts). He provided all the required tools and cleaning supplies as well as a tarp and a shop vac so there was no greasy BBQ grime on the patio and no garbage for me to dispose of! He followed up with a text message to ensure that I was satisfied with the work he did. I'm impressed with the people and the company. I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again and I've already recommended them to a neighbour! I'm definitely a happy customer in Mississauga, Ontario!

Cynthia and Zach were a terrific team in getting my barbecue all cleaned up and serviced. They were both courteous, extremely professional (when they were running late due to traffic, they called me to let me know).
