Very nice place. First time there, and I’m happy with the work that they did. People there are friendly and educate. 💯 recommended!!

I was recommended Mona by a friend and based on the reviews was excited to try them out. As a first time customer, I was extremely disappointed with my experience, enough that I felt compelled to write this review and will not be returning. I arrived for a gel-fill manicure at 4:45pm and was not out of the doors until just after 7pm. I have never in my life had a gel fill or any manicure take that long. My technician was very polite and kind and the nails looked nice at the end, but with that he was very inexperienced. He burnt my nails with the file to the point where my finger cut open, and is very painful today. As well as burnt my skin around my cuticle with the electric file which is also very painful today. Finally towards the end of my manicure, barely any cuticle oil was used and the technician goes "okay we're done." Is it just this place that doesn't use lotion or give a hand massage after the nails are complete? I was absolutely shocked to then be charged around $75 + tip for this service that I was completely dissatisfied with.

Not very talkative place, but they got their job done so well. If you are introverted and simply want your nails done, this is the place.

The nicest little nail salon! Haven’t gotten my nails done since moving to Leslieville due to COVID. Got a French shellac manicure today by Aiden and it was very well done. He was very gentle, meticulously painted the white strip, and was very polite. Overall a great experience and looking forward to going back!

Very nice place and lovely polite people. Definitely will be my new local nail salon.
