Terrible, I went in there at 3.15 pm and was told by an employee that she wouldn't help me because she wanted to close early at 3.45pm. The office is suppose to stay open till 4pm. She then rudely ignored my requests for assistance even though I had driven from Tofino a 3 hour drive to file my paperwork. How can a government office close early because an employ wants to go home? Horrible experience. Go to the Victoria office if you can. But definitely don't show up anytime later than 3 or 2.30pm for that matter.

Great staff altogether. Learned far more than what was required for my courses. Instructor was great at explaining every aspect of marine safety and navigation. I plan to return for my future courses.

Very efficient and courteous service. Brought in the water pump of my Yanmar inboard and in a few days, even though they were very busy, they had it fixed. It is now 3 weeks later and everything is working just fine. Thank you!

Beautiful store, helpful staff and occasional interactive events. Price for fishing & hunting items comparable to Canadian Tire, but better selection. Clothing prices on the high side.
