Beautiful spot

Passed through here while backpacking. There's a nice shelter to camp under. Also a dock with a boat you can take to the little island to camp for the night.

Love this campground! We bring our family here every summer. It's quiet, there's a nice amount of space between each site and a great time ocean swimming spot called Mermaid Cove.

One of the most beautiful lagoons around. Never too busy in the summer and truly gorgeous.

Better and newer (and cleaner) than most Provincial Park campgrounds. We arrived on a Monday afternoon in mid-July without a reservation and were lucky to get a spot. However there is a large overflow camping area. The Park Operator is friendly.

What a fantastic place so close to Vancouver. This place is perfect for Coproate or Leisure retreats. The accommodations are great, ample meeting space and the lake is mesmerizing.

Good little picnic spot, overlooking the river.

We are 'fulltimers' and this park, without doubt, is the best we have stayed at. The hosts are fantastic folks and incredibly helpful. The park is quiet, has great spaces for all sizes of RV's, pull-throughs, impeccably clean shower and washroom facilities, and all this in a beautifully treed setting. In our experience city-owned parks are generally not well cared for or well run. Claybanks is a wonderful exception. Kudos to the hosts and the City of Merritt. They have the best kept secret for RV'ers in BC.
